And Then She Kissed Him
a Chronicles of Narnia- Actors story
by Hermione Eveningfall

I had such fun writing this fic--it was kind of a last minute bunny that bit me before class this afternoon ;) definitely read/review-- feedback is much appreciated! Thx!

Erin felt her heart racing as she stood in her room, preparing for one of her last dates with Will. It was hard to believe the school year was nearly over; only a week before she hopped on a plane to return to the United States.

She stood before her vanity mirror, gazing at her reflection, but not really doing anything in particular. This year had been a bit crazy, for certain, but she thanked God for letting Will into her life. He was a pure miracle, that was for certain!

There was a knock on her bedroom door, and Erin jumped, standing and going to answer it. One of her three roomies, Angela, stood in the doorway smirking.

"We just saw Will coming up the street," she announced. "Are you ready? I love that dress!"

Erin wore a slim black, sleeveless dress and a white shawl over her shoulders. He was taking her to a rather fancy resturaunt, and she wanted to look stunning, but not too overly done up. She barely wore any make-up; just a tiny bit of blush and mascara. Her long, dirty blonde hair was down and curled a bit at the ends, and she wore a pair of black flats.

"Thanks," she said, reaching for her sunflower-scented perfume, and spritzing it on her wrists and her neck. She rarely wore perfume around Will; actually, not at all. He always told her he loved the way she smelled, and his favorite thing to do was to burry his face against her neck and just take her in. Of course, it didn't help that she was ticklish there, and he was only able to stay in that position for a short amount of time before she would burst into laughter and push him away.

"Going all out, huh?" Angela asked as Erin grabbed her purse and hurried to the top of the steps.

"Yeah, you know I want to make him wild," Erin laughed, and pretended to purr like a tiger.

"You're awful," Angela snorted. "Listen, you stay here.and we'll let him in. I think it would be more dramatic if you came down to meet him, you know?"

Erin struck a pose at that moment, just as Michelle and Amanda appeared to survey the going's on.

"Stand aside, girls," Angela ordered, and they waited until Will came up to the porch, and knocked on the door. Erin laughed and grabbed onto the railing, peering down and trying to watch as he came in. He could hear his voice greeting her roomies politely, and felt shivers of pleasure going down her body.

"Erin?" Amanda called. "Your beau is here!"

Erin rolled her eyes and took a deep breath; she still felt a little nervous before each date, which was not exactly strange, considering she was dating a celebrity. There was always the possibility that they might be recognized in public; not that she minded so much.she was so proud of Will for what he'd accomplished.

He was wearing a grey suit and tie, looking very handsome in deed when she approached.

"Wow," he breathed when she moved closer to kiss him gently on the lips. The girls giggled, and she shooed them away with her purse.

"We're just getting to the good stuff," Michelle pouted, and she gave her a warning look. "Okay, okay, come on." She drug Amanda and Angela away, making Will laugh.

"Well.I brought something for you," he said, presenting her with a small boquet of flowers. Erin felt her heart skip a beat, and took them, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"You didn't have to do that," she whispered, and he kissed her.

"What would a real date be without flowers?" he asked, rubbing his nose absentmindedly.

"You're right," she laughed. "let me go put these in a vase and then we can go. I love them, Will.guys can almost cover everything by giving me flowers." She winked and he followed her into the small kitchen. She saw her roomies sitting in the living room watching television, only she knew they weren't really paying attention to it.

"Sneaky," she teased, and Amanda gave her the thumbs up signal.

"HuhCHSHHH!" Will suddenly sneezed, managing to cover his mouth with his hand in time. Everyone stared at him with surprise, including Erin, who almost dropped the vase she'd pulled out from one of the cabinets with surprise.

"Bless you!" all four girls told him in unison, and he nodded.

"Thanks. Sorry," he apologized, coming to put his arms around Erin's waist as she filled the vase with water.

"You all right?" Erin asked as he rested his chin on her shoulder.

"Yeah." He cleared his throat.

"Dammit, he missed it again!" Michelle cursed, shaking her fist at the television.

"Watching soccer?" Will asked, glancing over his shoulder.

"Yeah, international. We're loosing really badly to Scotland right now.shit! You idiot, that was an easy goal!"

Will shook his head, smirking. "Where are you going to put them?" he asked, and she bit her lip.

"Up in my room of course," she giggled. "They'll look gorgeous sitting on my desk."

"Oh good. You don't have tissues up there, do you?" he asked, rubbing his nose again.

"Yeah. Are you not feeling well?" she asked, concerned, and he shrugged.

"I feel okay.my nose is driving me crazy, though."

Amanda bit back a giggle, nudging Angela with her elbow.

Erin led Will upstairs and into her room, and after setting the vase on her desk, offered him her box of tissues. "Take as many as you need," she encouraged, and watched as he pulled out several.

"Thanks," he croaked, blowing his nose.

"Did this just start up?" she asked, her eyes catching a glimpse of her sunflower perfume bottle.

"HehCHSHHH! HuhTCSHHHH!" he snapped forward, groaning. "Ugh.yeah, kind of. I felt fine on the way here." He sniffed and smiled at her weakly. "You ready?" he asked. "We have reservations at seven."

"Okay," Erin nodded. "Might want to stuff a few in your coat pocket in case," she suggested, and he did so.

When she got her leather jacket, she laced her fingers through his, allowing him to peck a kiss on her cheek as they headed down the stairs and through the front door.

It was a fifteen minute trolly ride into town, and Erin kept her head on Will's shoulder for most of the trip. She hated the idea of leaving him behind, but she didn't have a choice. It was expensive studying abroad, and she'd been lucky enough to do so.

"Hah-CHSHHH! ChSHHHESH!" Will sneezed, and several of the passengers in the trolly blessed him quickly.

"Bless you," Erin told him, rubbing his back. "Sweetie, you might be allergic to something."

He buried his nose in his tissues, smirking a bit. "I dunno." He shrugged. "Not wearing anything different, are you?" he asked, and she raised an eyebrow. "Well, I mean.I know you don't dress like thi. thi.HehCHSHHHH! HuhCHSHHHH! Sorry," he apologized, and she shook her head. "KSHHHHUH!"

"Bless you," she laughed, as they pulled to a stop. "This should make for an interesting night. You're sneezing too much to even finish a sentence." She winked, and he stuck out his tongue at her playfully.

"Funny," he croaked. "But seriously."

"Different.besides my incredibly sexy dress, you mean?" she winked and he rubbed her shoulder, laughing.

"Yeah." They stopped in front of the resturaunt doors so he could blow his nose again, and she shivered a little in the evening breeze.

"Oh, dammit," she breathed, and he raised an eyebrow. "Will, I'm wearing perfume tonight. Sunflower.I haven't worn it around you yet."

He cleared his throat and smiled softly. "Mmmm. We might have found the culprit," he chuckled, and she groaned, resting her head against his chest. "Hey, you wouldn't have known," he soothed, rubbing her back and kissing her forehead. "I didn't." he shrugged.

"What are we going to do?" she asked. "I guess I can try washing it off once we get inside.I'll just go into the ladies room." She watched with worry as his face crinkled again, and stepped back.

"HehCHSHHHH! ChSHHHH! KuhCHSHHHHH! HehSHUUUH!" he nodded, his nose itching even worse than before. "Better do it quick," he squeaked, and Erin shook her head sadly, hating that she was making him feel so terrible. She led him inside, apologizing to the hostess when he was sneezing to hard to speak properly.

"It should be under Moseley party of two," she said, and the woman looked at her book, nodding.

"Yes. A waitress should be with you shortly."

"Where is your bathroom?" Erin asked. "It's kind of an emergency."

"Just down the hall and to the right," the hostess said, and Erin encouraged Will to sit down.

"Honey, I'll be right back," she promised, and he nodded, waving her off.

Erin dashed off as fast as she could, finding the bathroom with little trouble. She immediately went to the sink and turned on the faucet, quickly rubbing off the perfume from her wrists, using soap. Her face was flushed; she could still hear him sneezing in the distance, though there were longer pauses between each one. After washing the perfume off from her chest and neck, she checked her reflection in the mirror, trying to stop trembling.

She took a deep breath after a moment or two and peeked out of the bathroom, just as a waiter came by with a tray. She cautiously approached Will, who had stopped sneezing by the time she reached him, and bit her lip. His nose was rather red from all of it, and he looked truly exhausted.

"I'm really sorry," Erin breathed, and he stood, wrapping his arms around her.

"It's okay," he promised, pausing a little, as though he were going to sneeze again. When he didn't, he sighed with relief, and Erin did, too.

"So, we can disgard my sunflower perfume," she laughed as a waiter came to meet them, leading them to their table.

"Yeah," Will choked, smiling as Erin was helped into her seat. "What do you think, anyway?" he asked, looking around, and she did as well.

"It's beautiful," she breathed, reaching over to take his hand, once they ordered drinks. "I just can't believe it's my last week here." She closed her eyes as he kissed her hand, and she squeezed his tightly.

"We'll make this work," he said. "I promise."

"You have to invite me onto the set if you do start filming Prince Caspian," she said, and he winked.

"Absolutely." He smiled at her. "I love you," he said, and she smiled. "You know that, right?"

Erin blushed. "I know.I love you, too."

"You are really blushing," he laughed, and she covered her face with her hand, laughing as well.

"Stop that," she teased, and he pulled her over so he could kiss her.

Unfortunately they had to break it when he sneezed again. "KSHHHH!"

Erin snorted and shook her head, giggling as he began muttering curses under his breath.

"Bless you," she told him, and he nodded.

"Thanks. Sorry," he apologized, and she shrugged.

"Better out than in," she replied.

The rest of the dinner passed without much excitement, though Erin was doubled over with laughter as he did imitations of his co-stars. After they were finished eating, he took her for a walk around town, with no particular destination in mind. He just wanted to be with her, to soak up what he could before she was gone for months at a time.

"Look at that sunset," Erin breathed, as they sat on a park bench by the lake, watching the ducks swim past. Will wrapped his arm around her shoulder, leaning his head against hers.

"I'll never forget this," he whispered, and she then she turned.

"Me either," she promised, and then she kissed him.

This is kind of a continutation from "You are my Sunshine"- the character Erin is the same.
